Blogging Your Way To Fame and Fortune

Using a blog to share your opinions is a great way to start. But what if you want others to help you with the promotional activities. Wouldn’t it be nice to leverage the power of social marketing through the blogosphere and have an army of others spreading the word.

Well I have good news, there are quite a few sites already offering this service and today I am providing a short list (ok… 15 sites) below for your reference.

Here’s a list of sites you can use to sponsor or promote your own content through “paid blogging” etc.

The ones with *’s are ones I’ve used as an advertiser and a blogger. As they say … ’so far, so good.’

With regards to other people’s perception about your using a paid service to promote your blog - I’d have to say you will undoubtedly get mixed results. Some people consider paid blogging (paid content production) no differently than advertising and take it in their stride.

Others consider ‘blogging’ as sacrosanct (baloney!) and they can get a bit militant. Fortunately this last group is dwindling because blogging is becoming more mainstream as a well accepted corporate vehicle for marketing message expression.
