Burlington Chamber of Commerce: Why It Should Be Part of Your Marketing Strategy

As the late P.T Barnum once said, “Without advertising, something terrible happens – nothing!” So what’s a local business to do? Advertise of course! But for most it’s a gamble because advertising is tricky and no, your company name is not a good advert headline.

Today’s smart businessperson knows networking and referrals are key to a strong customer base. And there’s one sure-fire way of gaining such a base – join the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and get involved. For a small investment, you’ll gain access to a wonderful array of supporting events, materials and networking opportunities for a whole year.

Regular before and after work opportunities combine a chance to relax and learn about other local businesses. Simply show up and take an interest in your fellow members – “Yes,” it really is that easy.
