Have you ever wanted to “hack” a web page on someone else’s website? One simple line of code makes it all possible.

Of course, you’re not actually editing the ‘real’ website, just the way it looks on YOUR computer screen. Think of all the fun you can have with this. It’s the same trick scoundrels use to create fake screen shots from PayPal and other real institutions. Remember, seeing isn’t believing - it’s just the beginning of due diligence!

Here’s that line of code…

Web Page Hacking Code:

Copy and paste it into the browser address bar and press enter. It has been tested with Firefox and IE7. Remember to have fun… and play nice.

javascript:document.body.contentEditable=’true’; document.designMode=’on’; void 0

If you create a truly funny webpage “hack” drop me a comment (below) and email me your screen shot and I’ll publish the best on my blog so we can ask for votes :-)
