I’ve written about this before - I called it ‘Sith Marketing’, anti-marketing, reputation ‘damagement’ and so on. If you haven’t clued into the fact online public opinion is important, then this ought to make you sit up and take notice.
Please note, I’m not singling Land Rover out for any ’special’ treatment, and frankly I’ve not read all the posts, nor do I care too. What I want you to grasp is the enormous, scary, “oh my god… the sky is falling” ability of one voice and some free technology to basically kick your brand (or your company) squarely in the marketing nuts…
Try Googling ‘Land Rover’ and look down the search results list. It was #2 for quite some time, now I believe it’s #6. Here’s the site that clearly shows David is alive and well, and all Goliaths had better be very careful ‘out there.’
